Mary Kay Case Competition - American Marketing Association
In the fall of 2017, I participated in an interdisciplinary class that focused on competing in the American Marketing Association’s Case Competition. There were nine marketing students in the class, and one graphic design student (myself). As a group, we researched, created and submitted a marketing plan for our client Mary Kay. At the AMA Intercollegiate Conference in New Orleans, we pitched our plan in front of Mary Kay, executives and scored third place internationally.
Our sponsor, Mary Kay, was seeking to boost sales and engagement with millennials (ages 18-24). My personal role included creating all of the design elements such as the layout design of the plan, illustration, UI/UX design of the mobile app, storyboard and logo design.
